Spring is finally here in Detroit and our wedding season is in full swing. Amanda and Chris’s intimate Eastern Market Wedding at the J’adore in Detroit was the perfect way to welcome the warm weather. They planned a great celebration–one that was relaxed and carefree while still hitting all of the feels. While the guest list was intimate, the list of folks who love them isn’t:). Mom and dad were there along with Amanda’s bridesmaids to help her get ready in a beautiful home in the Boston Edison District of Detroit. Louis was able to be there for hair and makeup and one goodbye hug (*that sweet little pup…featured in their engagement session here). And following the ceremony, the two snuck into the bathroom to cry and hug…but they left the door open so we could all see just how cute they are–and then posed for the cell phones with those huge tears.
If I had to pick my favorite thing about this party (other than the obvious cuddling photos), it was so cool to see the number of people that drove by JUST to get a glimpse of the newlyweds or share some champagne with them outside in the market. I loved having our portrait time interrupted by HUGS. Can it get much better?
I can say so much of these two, but I mostly want to say that they are well-loved.
Congratulations, Chris and Amanda!
