June 4th was one of those days that just felt right.
Ben and Kristen were married at Old St. Mary’s in Detroit, with Ben’s uncle officiating the ceremony. It was heartfelt and personal—just like their story. These two have been together since high school, and if you’ve known them a while, this day probably felt like it was always meant to happen.
They grew together through college (go MSU!) and into adulthood. Standing at the front of that beautiful church, they were surrounded by people who had seen their relationship grow from the start. Their parents looked so proud—smiles, tears, and everything in between.
After the ceremony, everyone gathered at the Colony Club downtown. The space has a timeless feel, and it fit the celebration perfectly. Ben introduced Kristen as his wife for the first time, and that moment landed hard—in the best way.
The Dan Rafferty Band brought the energy, and once the dancing started, it didn’t stop. It was the kind of night people will remember for a long time—full of laughter, good music, and a lot of love.
Ben and Kristen, thank you for letting us witness a day that truly reflected who you are. You two were meant for this.
And to everyone who helped bring this day to life, you truly made it something special.
