Sometimes, I think I dreamt of this session, but I couldn’t have imagined this engagement session with the most perfect night for sailing
Glynis and Woody booked an adventure out with Detroit Sails as the two of them love the waters of our sweet home state. We had planned to meet at the Detroit Institute of Arts for a few portraits before heading to the river. And wow, a few minutes before our session, a storm blew in–thankfully, we were covered and could make some of these photos, but we had to postpone our sail since the waters were way too rough. We were surely disappointed, but the evening that we did meet up a few weeks later made up for it with the most glorious sunsets.
Authors and poets much better than I could use the most lovely words to paint these visuals in your mind. I am not a poet, but I have a camera.
