Heather & Pete: A Cherished September Day
Heather and Pete have quite a history together, and they decided this was the year they’d tie the knot, no matter what. And I can tell you, their sunny September day was one of the most beautiful I can remember. So many little things throughout the day highlighted what truly matters to them.
Heather got ready at the Dearborn Inn, thoughtfully incorporating special touches to honor family who couldn’t be there. We all knew when her father was about to see her for the first time, and I braced myself for tears. Those moments between a dad and his daughter on her wedding day are always so precious. Their ceremony at The Church of the Divine Child was gorgeous, filled with tender, stolen glances between them. The best part was seeing Pete’s face as he walked back down the aisle with his beautiful new bride.
The couple greeted their friends and family at the Dearborn Inn. Cocktail hour spilled into their lovely courtyard. The tent reception followed, complete with a Polish Blessing and everyone dancing in the grass. Heather and Pete are truly blessed with a wonderful group of people who love them dearly, and it’s easy to see why.
Congratulations, Pete and Heather!
