For years now, I’ve had the honor of photographing the Wilkerson family. It’s truly special, moving from high school portraits to now capturing their family weddings. I first met Kimberly and Logan several years ago, and even then, their young love and commitment were clear to see. Later, I had the chance to photograph their engagement session, and now, their beautiful wedding at Cobblestone Farms.
Some of my favorite parts of their day were those quiet moments just before the ceremony. Everyone felt those happy wedding nerves – the good kind, full of excitement. Kimberly’s smile was simply radiant, and her hair looked perfect. And oh, the ring bearer! It was quite chilly for May in Michigan, and after just a few minutes of wedding party photos, he was pretty much done. But it made for the most adorable moment.
The dance floor was packed all evening after a fantastic meal from Slows BBQ – those calories don’t count, right? One of the sweetest details was a while back when Kim loved a Pinterest idea for giant wooden letters. Logan’s dad secretly made them for her, making her day even more special. We just had to use them for a beautiful night shot. It was truly a day to remember.
Congratulations, Logan & Kimberly!
