Stacey and Matt’s love story began back in high school, and it’s clear that the years have only deepened their connection. As high school sweethearts, they’re completely at ease with one another—making their Belle Isle engagement session feel natural, effortless, and filled with genuine moments.
We met on a warm, sunny day at Belle Isle Park in Detroit. The light was perfect, and the setting gave us so many beautiful backdrops to work with—from tree-lined paths to serene riverside views. They laughed, explored, and soaked in the sunshine… and yes, we had a little bit of wind (okay, a lot!), but they made it look absolutely dreamy.
As the sun began to dip below the horizon, we were treated to yet another breathtaking Detroit sunset. Golden hour always adds a touch of magic, but these two brought the real glow.
Next fall, Stacey and Matt will say “I do,” beginning their next chapter together. I couldn’t be more honored to capture their big day. Their engagement session was just a glimpse of how beautiful their wedding will be.
