Amber and Brad’s intimate wedding ceremony took place at the All Saints Wedding Chapel in Howell, Michigan.
Before tying the knot, the group got ready in Pinckney. The day seemed to take its time—at least in the beginning. We danced, breathed, and soaked in all of the details of the day. The pressure that usually accompanies a larger wedding was absent. In its place was a joyful calm. There is something so restful about an intimate wedding.
When it was time for the ceremony, Amber’s ring bearer had an extra important job. He was in charge of walking his momma down the aisle and giving her away. Brad was in tears as he watched the pair meet him at the altar.
After the ceremony, the group headed to Whispering Pines Golf Course for portraits before dinner with their closest friends and family. After wrapping up with portraits and dinner, the entire group tore it up on the dance floor.
I have to admit—I photographed Amber a few years ago when she was getting ready to graduate, and I loved seeing the pair create their new little family. What a privilege to be asked to document such a momentous day.
