Peter and Cecilia’s engagement session at Addison Oaks had that quiet kind of magic that summer evenings are known for. Golden light, a soft breeze, and the ease of two people who are perfectly at home with each other.
The two had a long-distance relationship, but it became apparent that the “distance” part of their relationship needed to go. So, Peter, knowing he wanted to marry Cecilia, waited for the right time to propose, and they are now planning a gorgeous fall wedding at The Village Club in Bloomfield. We got together for their session at Addison Oaks just a few months before the ceremony, and of course, Cecilia brought gorgeous flowers from her family’s flower shop, Viviano Flower Shop. Always a treat.
Addison Oaks gave them the space to be themselves — and while it was a warm evening, if you are curious, we didn’t jump in the water at the end. Although it was tempting…:)
