Jam Handy was the perfect spot for Sara and Harry’s wedding celebration. Their story is pretty special—they live and work in the fast-paced world of New York City, but when it came time to plan their big day, something kept pulling them back to Detroit. So, they followed their hearts and brought the party home.
The day kicked off with hair and makeup, followed by a laid-back lunch in their room at the Marriott. With a stunning river view through a wall of windows, it was the perfect way to soak in the moment. Meanwhile, the guys grabbed a quick drink at the Townsend before heading to Ste. Anne de Detroit for the ceremony.
As one of Detroit’s oldest and most beautiful churches, it stands tall in the skyline, proud of its history—just like Sara and Harry, who love this city through and through. They even planned a 360 tour for their guests before the reception, which gave me the perfect chance to capture some incredible shots around Detroit.
The party at Jam Handy was nothing short of amazing. Every detail came together perfectly—the venue, the food (absolutely unreal), and the band that kept the dance floor packed all night. And let’s not forget Harry’s epic cowbell moment—because really, can you ever have too much cowbell?
This wedding was one for the books.
