Nick and Amanda chose the Inn at Bay Harbor for so many reasons–they love overlooking the water, the thought of bringing their family and friends on a mini vacation was so much fun to look forward to, and the location was one with sentiment to them. They were engaged at Petoskey State Park and spent the weekend at the Inn just enjoying being engaged.
The couple welcomed friends and family at the Bay Harbor Yacht Club the evening before the wedding. It was delicious appetizers, really good wine, and a custom-made-for them sunset over the marina….and everyone was buzzing knowing that Saturday was going to be something to talk about for years to come.
The morning was spent at the cottages getting ready, and while it was a little overcast, the crew enjoyed just hanging out together. Nick and Amanda choose to see each other before the ceremony. Since they wanted to be able to enjoy time with each other and enjoy the day, it ended up being the perfect plan. We were able to take those cherished family photos before heading down the aisle so that the rest of the evening could be enjoyed with all of their guests.
