“I love her, and that’s the beginning and end of everything.” – F. Scott Fitzgerald.
Years after high school, Caiti and David reconnected, and their story truly began. After college, Caiti traveled for her art history degree and worked on the East Coast. That time apart meant something, making their wedding celebration feel even sweeter. (You can see a bit of that sweetness in their engagement session here).
Their day was filled with moments that made our hearts swell. Caiti’s dress was stunning, especially the delicate sheath she designed herself. Her artistic eye truly shines. A bagpiper represented Caiti’s time overseas, adding a special touch. They also made sure to spend plenty of time photographing all their friends and family. Their first dance was magical, but one of my favorite parts happened later that evening. Caiti and David were just chatting with friends, nowhere near the dance floor. But when the first notes of Van Morrison’s ‘Brown Eyed Girl’ started, David simply grabbed his new wife and danced with her right there.
It’s those little things that count. And David, I truly hope that every time your favorite song comes on, you keep grabbing your wife and dancing with her, even in the middle of the kitchen.
Congratulations, friends!
