Jeff & Patricia

There are a lot of little stories with each photo.  We can see the time of the year and the weather.  Often, if we look at an old photo, we can see clearly where we were.  And one of the best parts of photographing a wedding day is to be able to get all of those things in print so that one day the photo is picked up and examined for just long enough to bring back a flood of memories of ALL of the things.  Feeling the jitters of the wedding morning and the freakout moment of the first look.  It’s definitely crying during parent dances and laughing at your best friend’s crazy gag gift. For me, its STILL my husband rubbing my feet right after the ceremony while we waited for our limo.  It’s the best candid photograph, ever, since its who he is even 17 years later.

For Patricia and Jeff, I can’t say exactly what moment will forever stop them in their tracks, but I know they have a few contenders.  Special things to remember loved ones who could be with them, emotional first looks…or just that they had a destination wedding (hey, hey Detroit….these are live in Boston and we had sunshine). Anyway, their day was filled with great candidates and I am sure that they love them all.

Congratulations, Jeff and Patricia:!

So, you made it to the end of this gorgeous wedding. But I cheated a bit and didn’t really show you the end.  Just after snuck onto the roof of the Opera House (and yes, the view of our City stops me every single time)….but of course, we headed back into the party to get back on the dance floor. And I turn around and find a buddy cutting off the sleeves on my groom.  I guess he wasn’t starting a trend, but making sure he continued a tradition.  I guess this is just what Jeff does on the dance floor.  This group was so much fun—I bet that there are going to be years of traditions that constantly bring smiles to everyone’s faces.
