If there was ever a quote that fit Kimberlee and Mark’s story, I think that would be it.
From Kimberlee: “We met in seventh grade. I had a crush but Mark was he more interested in his guitar than having a girlfriend. I remember talking on the phone for hours with him. We stayed good friends through middle school, but grew apart in high school. During our second year in college we reconnected through mutual friends. Our connection was obvious to everyone. For some years, we were still figuring out life and enjoying being young. We finally couldn’t deny our bond any longer and stayed together. I can’t wait to marry my dream man!”
Sometimes life is all about timing, I’m glad these two waited until the moment was right for them because they were so sweet, so in love and just so into each other – it’s obvious they were meant to be.
We photographed their engagement session in Downtown Wyandotte. Which is one of my favorite, favorite places. I LOVE downtown Wyandotte. It has such a great main street with wonderful store fronts. It also has some of the best people. We stopped right in front of Beliscoso Martini Bar and the owners congratulated the couple with a drink to toast. It was so sweet! I mean, where else would that happen? We then made our way down to the water front and we were greeted by the most incredible clouds and amazing sunset.
It’s probably a good thing the sun did set because I literally couldn’t stop photographing these two folks. But I’ll get the chance to see them again when they get married later this summer at Wellers in Saline.
