So, originally, I had spoken with Nichole, and we had started to plan some portraits that she and Dustin could cherish as a couple. It was a gift to her from him a while back, and she had been waiting until the fall for the perfect day to schedule her portraits.
Sometime, between the day we scheduled our session and our session day, Dustin surprised her by popping the question. And Nichole sticks to her story that she was completely surprised.
Of course, my mind was racing thinking of off of the fun things we could now do for the portrait-turned-engagement session. And, even having to reschedule due to rain, we ended up a perfect evening, trees that let just the right amount of light through, and pure joy captured by my camera.
To Nichole and Dustin, you are a treasure to our family and to each other. Thank you for letting me in your lives with my camera.
