Engagements

Sam + Adam | Nichols Arboretum | Ann Arbor, Michigan

December 16, 2017

“To love is nothing. To be loved is something. But to love and be loved, that’s everything.” T. Tolis

If there are in fact two people that got in front of the camera and just were themselves, it was Sam and Adam.  It took all of three minutes to see them just relax and be comfortable in their own skin.  Sam and I started talking about their wedding day well before the day and venue was chosen. So when we got together to shoot their engagement session…right before it turned cold….I had to hug her since I felt like I had known her years.

We met at the Nichols Arboretum for their engagement session.  The little spot that we wandered to was just their spot.  And they pretty much melted into who they are as soon as we found it. There is nothing I enjoy better than starting an engagement session at a spot that has memories for a couple.  It kicks the entire time off with a bang.  After that, we wandered through U of M’s campus and found some of the coolest little spots.

I have no doubt that their August wedding at the Michigan League is going to be one for the books!

Congratulations, Sam and Adam!
